Straighten Any Image WITHOUT Cropping!

In the layers panel press command or control and click on the image thumbnail to make a selection

Inverse the select with shift + cmd + I

Go to Select. -> Modify -> Expand and expand your selection to 10px

In the contextual task bar click on Generative Fill the click Generate.

Choose the variation you like or click on generate again to get more variations

After you hit Generate and the area it generated look low quality hit Enhance detail on the thumbnail of that variation

Method 2

Go to the crop tool

Click on the Straighten icon then draw a line that you want to use to straighten the image

Select Ratio at the top of the tool bar, make sure Delete Cropped Pixels is unchecked.

Under Fill select Generative Expand

You can adjust the crop or just hit the check mark and the Generative Expand prompt will appear. Click Generative Expand

For more variation click on Generate again or Generate Similar.

If you have any distractions added from the Generative Expand, add a blank layer and use the remove tool to get rid of it.
